Heeee-llo.
I am Artur and I go by they/them and er/ihn. I believe that everyone needs digital real estate, and this is mine. It's a laboratory because I keep tinkering with it when I am here, and it's where lots of my thoughts are cultivated. I am an artist and researcher by day and ... by night lol.

2025-09 ~ Game Discourse Fails to Transcend Price Tags
A small input on how shitty game prices are screwing over a culture around video games that already is at its last straw.

Limbus Company: I am trying to find a Gacha game that deserves to be a gacha game, and this one really struck me as something more meaningful compared to the popular ones.
Hotel Dusk: What a banger. It was so refreshing to see how they decided to use the funny book-mode of the DS to make those beautifully animated portraits truly shine. The navigation works, the dialogue is goofy and super timely. I need to finish it still, but my few hours were absolutely perfect.
Life is Strange 2: Genuinely not as bad as people made it out to be. It made me think and wonder, which is what these games are about. 'Your choices matter' are the indie equivalent of 'Prepare to die', and we shouldn't hold it too highly.

Kunitsu-Gami: My game of the year 2024. It made me feel like coming home from school again. Perfection.

Dragon's Dogma 2: An absolute blast. I wish I could live in this game forever. Making your stunningly beautiful character while exploring this very odd world felt like some of the most interesting gaming experiences to me despite playing the game prior. The combat goes really hard and surprisingly, it felt like community.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar: A relief of a farming sim remake!! The game is lots of fun and marries all the little systems surprisingly well. I definitely over-engineered my time in it, but it's perfect for playing something that isn't forever trapped in the Stardew Valley of it all.
Hundred Line Last Defense Academy: The fact that this game exists in this form is a miracle. It's a epos of a visual novel, and without any damn competition my game of the year. Strong character writing, bonkers endings, fun combat, and they will never not make you gasp.
Mario Kart World: This is my perfect plug-off game. It's such a blast and pure joy to cruise around the open world and not get lost in the details. I am having so much fun with the knockout tours, and I hope to see it grow.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma: Rune Factory is one of my most beloved franchises and having a fresh spin on the formula kept me cuffed to the controller. The characters are joyous, the combat decent, and the town building truly shines in how it compliments the overall gameplay. I long for a beautiful future for the main line entries as well.
